Meet Dr. Kate Schooley (Barrington, IL)

Kate Schooley, O.D., obtained her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2023, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Illinois State University.

Dr. Schooley then went on to complete her externship training focusing on ocular disease, pediatrics, binocular vision disorders, and specialty contact lenses. She provides comprehensive eye exams with a special interest in myopia management and ocular surface disease. She also manages pre- and post-operative care for patients with cataracts and refractive surgeries. Dr. Schooley has a passion for helping others with the goal of optimizing their best quality of life through vision. She is looking forward to building trustworthy, long-lasting relationships with her patients of all ages, but she does have a soft spot for the kiddos!

Beyond her professional pursuits, she has a passion for exploring the world, enjoying outdoor activities, and cooking.
